How much traveling have you done?

Gloomy
Gloomy
I’m from California, and I’ve been to Washington, Oregon, and Nevada since I can remember. When I was little I also went to Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, but that was before I can remember. I think my mom has also said we went to Utah when I was too young to remember as well.

I’ve never travelled internationally though, which is kind of ironic since I’ve always lived within a 20-30 minute drive of the Mexican border. I’ve been close enough to the border to where I could see Tijuana in the distance, but I’ve never actually been in the country. Also if I didn’t have a phobia of flying in planes I wouldn’t mind visiting Japan.

A dozen states and 23 countries, nearly all I was solo backpacking. So Asia a few times and also Eastern Europe, spent about a year total traveling. Ive been fortunate to get money from an injury I had and traveling on a budget. Would recommend traveling solo if you haven't already.

For 3 days, that sounds like a lot of driving! I'm from one of those states, whatcha think?

I cycled the Pacific Coast and found that Washington's coast was the most boring. Also learned a bit about California, how different the north is from the south and how LA is like (I hate it). Also very cheap fruit in certain areas!

I've never been in the coastal part of Washington, but I do love all the green scenery in that state. I considered moving up there before I got a steady job down here.

I'm not a fan of LA either. When my dad and I drive up to Washington we often go around LA to avoid all that traffic and stuff. My step family lives in LA county and I swear when we went there for Christmas Eve, right when we passed the sign on the freeway that said "Los Angeles County Line", there was suddenly a bunch of graffiti. Yeah, welcome to LA lol.

I have been all over the UK, and lived in about 10 different towns, and cities. I used to hitch hike everywhere when I was young. I have also visited:

Ireland, Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland, France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Czech republic, Slovakia, Poland, and Hungary.

San Francisco, Tucson, Phoenix, Las Vegas, every major city in Montana, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, Chicago, NYC, Philly, Boston, DC, Mt. Rushmore, Charlotte... NJ (all over), upstate NY, poconos (Pennsy)... Driven through TN, OK, UT, ID, OH, WV, VA, DE, CT, NM, CO... I'm sure I'm missing quite a few, but these are my most memorable.

San Fran and Vegas are my favorites.

Missoula was pretty close to a "city". But if you compare the bigger metro areas to the small rural towns that have 5 houses, a school, and a gas station, then yes. There are 5 major cities in Montana.
